Step
1: Firstly, make sure that your iPhone or iPad device is smoothly connected
with the Internet.

2: Restart your iPhone or iPad, because most of the time the issue is resolved
by doing it. Now try to see that it works or not. If not, then watch the next
step.

3: Check the operating system version. It should be iOS 9.0 or later.
(I) Click on the 'settings' on your device.
(II) Select "General” >>
“About" and see the version.
Step
4: If you are using mail on iOS 9.0 or later version, then set up your emails:
-
(I) Click on 'Settings’
>> 'Mail, Contacts and Calendars' >> 'Add Account' and select
'Yahoo'.
(II) Enter Sky email address
and password and follow the prompted instruction.

5: If you are using mail on iOS 8.x or below version, then up to date the iOS
software.

6: Check the account settings and configure them correctly: -
Configure Your Sky Email Account Settings
(I) Click on the "Settings"
on your device, and then select "Mail, Contacts, and Calendars"
>> "Accounts" >> "your @sky.com email account".
(II) Click on the name of your email
address and then check the settings:
(a) For Incoming mail server:
- Host Name: imap.tools.sky.com
- Username: Your Sky Email address.
- Password: Your Sky Email account password
(b) Click on the “Advanced”
option at the bottom of the page.
- Make sure that SSL is “On/highlighted”
- Server Port should be 993.
(C) For Outgoing mail server
(SMTP):
- Click on SMTP and in 'Primary Server' choose “On”.
- Host Name: smtp.tools.sky.com
- Username: Your Sky Email address.
- Password: Your Sky Email account password
- Ensure that SSL is “On/highlighted”
- Server Port should be 465.
Now
again try to see that the issue is resolved or not. If not, then contact Sky Email Helpdesk.
